GoTyme Bank, a joint venture between the Gokongwei group of companies and multicountry digital banking group Tyme, emerged as a big winner at the 5th Bank Marketing Awards (BMA) in the awarding ceremony on November 14, 2023, held during the 2023 Financial Education Stakeholders (Fin-Ed) Congress of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
GoTyme Bank, a digital bank that celebrated its first year of commercial operations in October, won three out of the seven awards at the BMA 2023, a biennial awards program of the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines (BMAP) which aims to recognize outstanding achievements in the banking industry. BMA showcases banks’ innovative marketing strategies and their dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Winners receive a trophy, an original artwork by sculptor Ronald Castrillo.
The lone startup bank among other BMA winners which are well-established banks, GoTyme won in three categories: (1) Best Product Program for GoTyme Bank’s Debit Card Program; (2) Best Customer-Centric Product or Service for GoTyme Bank, a Human Digital Bank; and Best Financial Inclusion Program for GoTyme Bank’s Phygital Model.
Last month, GoTyme received recognition from the Asia CEO Awards 2023 in the awards night on October 24, 2023, at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott.
In its first time to join the awards program, GoTyme made it to the circle of excellence in three award categories: Technology Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year and Service Excellence Company of the Year. Asia CEO Awards is a leading local awards program that recognizes achievements of companies and individuals from various industries.
