What are the accepted valid IDs for GoTyme Bank account opening?
GoTyme Bank accepts only valid, government-issued photo IDs to ensure account security and regulatory compliance. These IDs allow GoTyme Bank to verify your identity in line with the BSP’s Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements.
Accepted IDs for Filipino citizens include:
- Passport
- UMID (Unified Multi-Purpose ID)
- SSS ID
- Postal ID
- PRC ID
- Driver’s License
- Voter’s ID
- PhilSys ID

Make sure that your ID is not expired, the photo and text are clear, and the document matches the personal details you entered during sign-up. You may use any.
For foreign nationals, GoTyme Bank requires a Passport and a valid ACR-I Card (Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card). Both documents are necessary to confirm your identity and legal residency in the Philippines.
In some cases, you may be asked to re-upload your ID or provide additional documents if your image is unclear or your ACR-I type needs verification.
Tip: Always use your primary IDs listed above. Secondary IDs (like company IDs or school IDs) are not accepted for account opening.
