Opening a GoTyme Bank account is a fully digital process that takes only a few minutes from your smartphone. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you complete your registration smoothly:

1. Download the GoTyme Bank app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). Always make sure you’re downloading the official app published by GoTyme Bank to protect your data.
2. Launch the app and tap “Sign Up” to begin. You’ll be asked to provide your basic information such as your full name, mobile number, and email address.
3. Verify your identity by uploading a valid ID. For Filipinos, you can use your Passport, UMID, Driver’s License, or PhilSys ID. For foreign nationals, a valid Passport and ACR-I Card are required.
4. Declare your tax residency. GoTyme Bank collects this information to comply with FATCA and BSP rules. You’ll be asked to select your country or countries of tax residence (up to four). If you are a U.S. tax resident, you will also need to provide your TIN or ITIN.
5. Complete biometric verification. You’ll take a quick selfie so the system can match it with your ID for secure facial recognition.
