What documents are required for foreign nationals?

Foreign nationals living in the Philippines are welcome to open a GoTyme Bank account, provided that they can submit the necessary documents to verify their identity and residency status. These documents are required to comply with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) standards, which ensure the security and legitimacy of all bank accounts.

Required Documents

To open an account, foreign nationals must upload:

  1. A valid Passport – This serves as your primary identification and confirms your nationality and personal details.
  2. A valid ACR-I Card (Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card) – This document proves your legal stay and residency in the Philippines. It is issued by the Bureau of Immigration and must be current and valid at the time of application.

Both documents must be clear, unexpired, and match the details you enter in the GoTyme Bank app. Uploading photos that are blurred, cropped, or do not show all details may result in a verification delay.
