What countries are accepted for onboarding?

GoTyme Bank welcomes foreign nationals who are legally residing in the Philippines to open an account, provided that their nationality is among those currently supported for verification. Eligibility is based on a combination of BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) guidelines, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) policies, and FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) requirements.

At present, GoTyme Bank accepts valid ACR-I Cards (Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Cards) issued to citizens of the following countries:

China, India, United States of America, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Singapore, Qatar, Macau, Hong Kong, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, New Zealand, France, Australia, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, Chile, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Brunei Darussalam, Uruguay, Georgia, Turkey, Botswana, Jordan, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Sri Lanka, and Lithuania.

If your country of citizenship appears on this list, you may proceed with onboarding using your valid Passport and ACR-I Card, as long as both documents are clear and unexpired.

GoTyme Bank continuously reviews and updates this list of eligible nationalities in coordination with regulatory authorities. Additional countries may be added over time as more foreign nationals become eligible for digital verification through government systems.

If your nationality is not yet on the list, you will not be able to complete the onboarding process at this time. However, GoTyme Bank is working toward expanding eligibility in the future. We recommend checking the Foreign Nationals Onboarding Section or official GoTyme Bank updates periodically for the latest list of supported countries.

Tip: Ensure your ACR-I Card reflects your current visa status and country of citizenship to avoid verification delays or account rejection.
