When should I use InstaPay vs PESONet?

Both InstaPay and PESONet let you transfer money to other banks and e-wallets, but they differ in speed, limits, and best use cases.

InstaPay

• Best for fast, smaller transfers
• Real-time, 24/7 (weekends and holidays included)
• Limit: Up to ₱50,000 per transaction, ₱500,000 per day.

PESONet

• Best for bigger or scheduled transfers
• Not instant: funds are credited same day if before cut-off, or next business day if after.
• No fixed per-transaction cap, but subject to your daily transfer limit.

On the GoTyme Bank app:

• If your transfer is ₱50,000 or below, it will be sent via InstaPay.
• If it’s above ₱50,000, it will be sent via PESONet.
