How to Open Your Go Crypto Account

Opening a Go Crypto account is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open your GoTyme Bank app.
     On the home screen, tap “Explore Go Crypto.”

  2. Activate your account.
     Choose “Activate my Go Crypto account.”

  3. Complete the setup.
     Provide a few details, including your email address and Tax Identification Number (TIN).
    *But don’t worry, tax on crypto investments are not withheld by GoTyme Bank. 

Note: If needed, you may also be asked for your Tax Identification Number (TIN), which you can find on your government-issued documents or apply for through the BIR.


  1. Answer the Client Suitability Questionnaire.
     This short quiz helps assess your investing experience and risk appetite so you understand what you’re getting into before investing in crypto in the Philippines.


What to do if your activation was rejected due to an expired ID

Got a notification asking you to update your ID? No worries—just follow these simple steps to get your account ready for activation:

  1. Tap the link in the notification that says “click here to email us your updated ID.”
     Make sure you only click trusted links that come directly from the GoTyme App.

  2. Check the email instructions carefully so you know exactly what details and photos you need to submit.

  3. Take clear photos of your valid, updated ID, attach them to the same email, and hit send.

  4. Our team will reach out to you once your documents are reviewed and your account is ready for activation.
