What is a Virtual Debit Card?

You’ll now have two cards on your GoTyme Bank account—a physical card you pick up at a kiosk, and a virtual card you can activate anytime on the GoTyme Bank app for online purchases, paying bills, or mobile wallet use.

The Physical Debit Card is the card you can print at our GoTyme Bank kiosk while the Virtual Debit Card exists only in your GoTyme Bank app. 

The Physical Debit Card is ideal for in-store and ATM transactions, and anywhere you need to tap or swipe. While the Virtual Debit Card is optimized for online shopping, digital wallets, and subscription services.   

Each card has its own unique number, CVV, and expiry date so you can safely use one for recurring payments, and the other for one-off purchases.
