Once a transfer is marked successful, it cannot be cancelled or reversed — this applies to both InstaPay and PESONet.

That said, here’s what can happen in specific cases:

  • If the account number doesn't exist or the account is closed: The transfer will likely fail or bounce back automatically, and the money will be refunded to your GoTyme account within 2–3 business days.
  • If the account number is valid but belongs to the wrong person: The transfer will go through and cannot be reversed automatically. We can help by coordinating with the receiving bank, but the recipient’s consent is required to return the funds.
